In an effort to enrich your overall educational experiences, the offices of Housing Services and Residence Life work collaboratively to provide residential facilities that meet student developmental needs, support the formation of community, and encourage the creation of seamless learning environments.
Once the enrollment deposit has been received and processed, new students can access the housing application by navigating MyHousing via Cardinal Students. Students should have received their Cardinal Station login information in the mail. If you have misplaced your Username and Password, please call the Catholic University Computer Help Desk at (202) 319-4357 for assistance.
Fall Semester
New Students can apply for housing in MyHousing via Cardinal Students. A Guide to Applying Online can assist you with this process. The housing application priority deadline for New Freshmen is May 15th and the deadline for New Transfer Students is August 1st. Housing Services is unable to guarantee on-campus housing to new students who submit housing applications after the published date.
Please note assignments are prioritized based on the date the housing application was received. In addition, when making assignments, requests will be considered according to the following priority: mutual roommate requests then building and room type preferences.
Spring Semester
New students admitted for the Spring semester should submit the Spring Only Housing Application in MyHousing. A Guide to Applying Online can assist you with this process. Please note University Offices will be closed for the Christmas Holiday which may delay review of applications submitted after December 15th until the University opens in January.
Please note assignments are prioritized based on the date the housing application was received and based on spring semester availability. In addition, when making assignments, requests will be considered according to the following priority: availability of vacancies, mutual roommate requests, then building and room type preferences.

Residence Hall & Dining Services Agreement: All housing applications begin with a review and electronic signature of the Residence Hall & Dining Services Agreement. By signing and accepting the Agreement, students are committing to live on-campus for the designated term(s) and agree to abide by all University policies.
Dining Services Website: The University considers dining an integral aspect of the overall residential experience. There are a number of dining locations on-campus where students can use their selected dining plan. Residential freshman, sophomores, and juniors must participate in a dining plan as outlined in the Residence Hall & Dining Services Agreement.
Student Housing Policy: The University strongly believes in the benefits of on-campus housing and access to resources as a residential campus. Students are required to live on-campus for the first six semesters of enrollment as outlined in the Student Housing Policy.
Disability Support Services (DSS) Housing Accommodation Process: DSS works closely with Housing Services to provide reasonable housing accommodations to eligible students with a diagnosed disability. Seeking a housing accommodation requires the student to initiate a request through DSS. Students should follow the steps and deadlines published on the DSS website.
