The Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in American is located in the Brookland neighborhood of Northeast Washington, DC. It is conveniently located a little more than a mile from Catholic University and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Amenities include: individual Rooms with private baths, laundry facilities, free secure parking, internet and phone service, meals, and use of library and chapels.

Centro Maria was opened 1996 as a residence for single young women between 18 and 29 years of age who have to leave home to study or work in DC. Life in the Residence if oriented towards creating a family atmosphere based on Christian values. Centro Maria is located 10 minutes walking distance from the University. Amenities include single rooms furnished with semi-private bathrooms, meals, wireless internet, chapel, TV lounge, communal dining room, laundry room, small kitchenettes on each floor (refrigerator, microwave, etc), private parking, and a garden.
Rosary House of Studies

Rosary House is a ten minute walk to Catholic University and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It is the home of the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation. Rosary House has facilities for young women, but space is limited. All rooms are single. Breakfast is provided every day, and dinner is provided Monday through Friday. Wireless internet access is available.
Anne Montgomery House

Anne Montgomery House is an intentional community for young adults interested in social justice and spiritual growth. Three Religious of the Sacred Heart live in the house which can accommodate up to four additional women, (Men are welcome to attend all programs which include Taize Prayer, film-nights, service days etc.). The house is a 20 minute walk from the Brookland Metro station (or a six minute ride on the G-8 bus). The monthly fee varies from $500 for a shared room to $700 for a private room and includes basic food, utilities, and internet. Casa Sacri Cuori

Casa Sacri Cuori is a residence run by the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts which offers housing for women studying or working in the Washington, DC area. Rates are for single unconditioned rooms in a smoke-free building. Applications may be made in writing or in person. Amenities include all utilities paid, large common library, cable Internet service in each room, washer and dryer, large chapel, large kitchen with unlimited use, and large common dining room and TV room. Limited maid service. Some parking is available off main road, but is limited. Unlimited phone use in the continental USA. Theological College (summer only)

Theological College is located in northeast Washington, DC, directly across from Catholic University and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. From mid-May through the end of July, Theological College offers room and board for students enrolled in various summer programs sponsored by The Catholic University of America. Accommodations are also available for small groups or individuals wishing to stay for a weekend or other brief period.
Comfortable single rooms are available for summer residents with bathrooms and showers on each floor. All rooms have high-speed internet-access, cable TV and telephones.
