We are excited to offer a campus MiniFridge with Microwave rental program with new, low pricing of $99 per semester! The MiniFridge unit is a 3-in-1 appliance with a refrigerator, freezer and a microwave oven. It has patented circuitry, which prevents blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers while reducing energy consumption. Since it includes a separate true zero-degree freezer, the freezer can store frozen foods including ice cream for extended periods. The MiniFridge is delivered directly to your room and may be rented on a daily, weekly, or semester basis.
MiniFridge units are also available to CUA students, interns, conference guests and other guests of the University during the summer.

SWAK University Services
Whether it is a student's first year on campus or their last, it can be both exciting and stressful to become an independent adult. One way to let your student know you are thinking about him/her is through our new care package program. You can choose one of the multi-package plans to recognize events throughout the academic year or order an individual care package. Options even include vegetarian, nut-free, gluten-free, and natural energy packages. With any order you can include an individual encouragement message; the personal message will be the first item the student sees when they open their package. Packages are delivered to the student's campus mailing address; the student will receive a package notice and can pick-up the package at the CUA mailroom. Visit the SWAK website for information on available packages and to place an order.
National Student Services, Inc. (NSSI)
NSSI is a student insurance program designed to protect the personal property of university students. Items like clothing, textbooks, sports equipment, computers, electronics and musical instruments are covered in the event of fire or theft. To inquire about coverage or to sign up, contact NSSI directly.
College Student Insurance (CSI)
College Student Insurance also insures student property in the event of an unfortunate circumstance. CSI often costs considerably less than homeowner's insurance deductibles, and generally offers greater flexibility with causes of loss (with some exclusions) and coverage for accidental damages. More information is available via CSI's website.
The CUA Procurement Services office has a partnership with Zipcar, a car-sharing service that provides self-serve access to several varieties of cars. With Zipcars parked on campus and in other dedicated parking locations throughout Washington, D.C., members can reserve cars online or by phone and use their personal access card to enter and drive them. Gas, insurance, maintenance, and dedicated parking are all included in Zipcar's hourly and daily rates. Personal memberships are available to CUA students, alumni, faculty and staff. Those interested can sign up on the Zipcar website. This program is not managed by Housing Services; questions should be directed to Zipcar or CUA Procurement Services.
